A student in my BIOL 119 class found an MP3 player in a seat in Rockefeller 301, Monday, 7 April 2008, 12:25 PM. I believe a section of ENGR 131 is the class in there immediately before mine.

If you can identify it to my satisfaction, it's yours.

I can't believe nobody wants this back...I posted a sign outside of Rockefeller 301 and still no takers.

The device is a black Creative Zen 1 GB with white earbuds. I finally plugged it into my computer and took a look at the files on it. It looks to be a distinctive list...so the owner ought to be able to ID the songs that are on it. The battery was not too dead; it's recharged itself after about 30 minutes.

Current replacement cost seems about $35, which is "real money" to me, so I know I'd want to find it if it were mine. Not sure what I should do with it if it continues to be unclaimed. I could use it as a flash drive (I don't listen to music from MP3 players, Luddite that I am).
