Hi,
I know I've read about it somewhere before, but I'd like to bring it up again: Who do we need to speak with in order to get iTunes U here at Case? More information about iTunes U: http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2007/05/30itunesu.html http://www.apple.com/education/itunesu/ |

There is a website about it:
http://itunes.case.edu/charter/ The idea was officially dropped, see the first/last iTunes U mailing list message: https://lists.case.edu/wws/arc/itunes/2006-07/msg00000.html There was a similar discussion about using a method other than iTunes. http://forum.case.edu/read/7/10621/10634 Eventually a student setup our own podcasting site: http://forum.case.edu/read/7/10860/10860 |

I don't think we need it. We already have mediavision and the LLC, i'm not quite sure how the redundancy of the apple site would do much besides make people feel uncomfortable about 3rd party for-profit organizations having information about them. ---David |

Language learning center (llc.case.edu). The language teachers can put up recordings. It's very well done. I think justin locsei and the freedman center were responsible for its creation. ---David |

It's all Justin Locsei's creation, he deserves full credit as he made it even before the Freedman Center was built. As a student employee at the FC, I like to grovel before him from time to time in thanks. =) |

Podcasting can also be done on the Case Blog System. You just need to edit your rss template file, upload your media files and link to them in a blog entry. An example of this is http://blog.case.edu/wrss/.
Just keep in mind the following. Post only one .mp3, .pdf or other media file per entry and don't use spaces in the file names. If you want to submit content to iTunes you should also follow Apple's guidelines for submitting and creating feeds. |
