Filer + MySQL

I remember hearing somewhere that Filer supports PHP. phpinfo() confirmed that nicely. The other reason I checked phpinfo(): to see if the MySQL extension was installed.
Assuming you enabled all these PHP extensions for a reason and not because you like decommenting random lines in php.ini: what do I need to do to use MySQL on filer? EDIT: I'm gonna guess the answer to my own question and say filer PHP will only connect to external databases, and keeping DBs on filer isn't possible/allowed. Hope I'm wrong. It's just that finding webspace is a breeze; finding DB space, much less so. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit was 2007:08:24:01:35:00 by William Oram. |

Filer has a database server that various people are using, and you can get a database setup on it. Except:
1. I don't work at Case anymore, so I'm not going to do it 2. The guy that more or less took over (Dave Carlin) is on vacation this week Otherwise you're GTG |
